Why a reopening? Well, since taking over the 15+ year-old Barcelona shop and business we — myself and three partners — bought in June 2024, we never closed the shop or changed the schedule, so perhaps it’s more of a rebranding and relaunch… 🙂

Months before the day we signed and received keys to the shop, we had plans for renovating, remodeling, rebranding, and ultimately remaking the business into something better. We’ve had a blast since taking over the shop, hosting our first workshops and events, getting to know old customers, and meeting so many new ones.

The partners decided on a “grand reopening” date of November 7th, so, while running the shop day-to-day, we’ve also been busy renovating, building, painting, improving the repair center, updating the lab, adding products, stocking the shelves, loading the display cabinets, filling the film fridge, setting up new software, preparing our new web store, and much more!
